Michelada de piña brings a smooth, island taste to an iconic mexican beverage. The pineapple puree helps smooth out the flavor and bring something familiar to someone who’s never had a michelada before.
Step 1: Dip the rim of a 12 oz. glass into a mix of salt, sugar, chili and hibiscus powder.
Step 2: Add ice and combine lime juice, pineapple puree, hot sauce, and Maggi Jugo and top with Modelo Especial.
Step 3: Garnish with Salt, Sugar, Chili, Hibiscus Powder Rim & Pineapple Rind
Step 4: *Bartender Notes: Fresh Pineapple Puree
1 Pineapple
Splash of Water or Fresh Orange JuiceDice a pineapple and save the rind for garnish. Add diced pineapple to a food processor with a splash of water or orange juice. Blend until smooth.
